Ecoxy and Equinor signs frame agreement for measuring emissions from offshore installations and onshore facilities

Molde, 08/01/24 – Ecoxy AS has been awarded a framework agreement for delivery of emission measurements of emissions to air from Equinor's offshore installations and onshore plants in Norway. In competition, Ecoxy won the award of the framework agreement and thereby also secures its position as a leading supplier of accredited emission measurements for diesel and gas engines, gas turbines and boilers.

After a carefully conducted tender process before Christmas, the competence company Ecoxy has secured the framework contract, which will include measurements of NOx, CO, CO2, O2 and UHC at Equinor’s offshore installations and onshore plants in Norway. The contract, which runs over a period of 4 years plus two two-year options, marks a significant milestone for Ecoxy.

Ecoxy has been providing accredited exhaust gas measurements for over 20 years and specializes in measuring emissions to air. Ecoxy’s customers are mainly rig and oil companies within oil and gas industry and shipping companies in the maritime industry, which are subject to measurement requirements in accordance with the regulations. But also for customers who want accurate measurement data to be able to implement effective strategies to reduce their emissions and optimize operations within their business.
