Are you an engineer with experience or strong interest in engines, gas turbines or emission technology? Ecoxy are always seeking Measurement Engineers to join our team and contribute to one of today’s most critical challenges: reliable and accurate measurement and documentation of air emissions.

As an independent and accredited third party, Ecoxy conducts emission measurements from diesel and gas engines, gas turbines and boilers in the maritime, offshore and industrial sectors. Our customers rely on our data for compliance, taxation, reporting, and strategic decisions for emission reductions and operational efficiency.

What you will do:
Conduct on-site emission measurements – both onshore and offshore
Operate and maintain advanced gas analyzers and laboratory instruments
Analyze measurement data and prepare high-quality documentation and reports
Work according to international standards (IMO NOx Technical Code, ISO, EN)
Collaborate with experienced engineers in a high-competence environment

Who we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, energy systems, process engineering, automation or similar
Experience with engines, turbines or combustion processes is a strong advantage
Practical and systematic – comfortable working both in the field and with data
Curious and eager to learn more about measurement and environmental technology
Proficient in English and Norwegian
Willing to travel regularly (mainly in Norway/Europe, both offshore and onshore)

We deliver accredited third-party verification of greenhouse gas emissions and environmental data, helping clients meet growing demands for credible sustainability reporting. As regulations tighten, verified data is essential. At Ecoxy, you’ll contribute to a meaningful, future-focused field — and help shape the industries of tomorrow.

Your Role at Ecoxy
As an Environmental and Climate Consultant, you will be a key member of our professional team. Working closely with clients and colleagues, you’ll ensure high-quality delivery of accredited verification services. You’ll be responsible for conducting inspections and verification of greenhouse gas data – covering onshore facilities, offshore installations, and advanced vessels.

This role offers you a unique opportunity to influence the development of our services in a company with strong technical capabilities and clear growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver accredited verification services to Ecoxy’s existing clients under the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and new regulations.
Provide accredited verifications related to other climate/environmental reporting frameworks.
Carry out consulting services both nationally and internationally.
Identify new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of our services and offerings.
Receive tailored professional development as part of a structured onboarding and mentoring program.

What We’re Looking For
Higher education in engineering, technical disciplines, environmental management, economics, or auditing – or equivalent experience.
Experience with greenhouse gas accounting and environmental standards (e.g. ISO 17029, ISO 14065, GRI, ESRS) is a plus – but not required. The right mindset and willingness to learn are what matter most.
Strong understanding of standards, regulations, and environmental reporting.
Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
Experience in client relations and building long-term partnerships.
