«It is very motivating to work with colleagues who possess so much expertise and experience in one of the most important areas for the world today. By measuring and verifying emissions to air, we contribute to the bigger picture as the world now aims to significantly reduce its emissions in the coming years. It is an exciting time to join Ecoxy, now that we are strengthening our market position and expanding our presence both nationally and internationally,» says Jim Thomas Gundersen.

«We are very pleased that Jim Thomas has accepted to lead Ecoxy. Ecoxy has operated solidly for over 20 years and has taken good steps in recent years to prepare the organization for international growth. With Jim Thomas, we gain an experienced leader who knows the maritime industry well and is truly passionate about promoting sustainable operations and emission-reducing measures,» says Sverre Hanssen, owner and chairman of Ecoxy AS.

Ecoxy provides accredited emission measurements on diesel and gas engines, gas turbines, and boilers, as well as verification services for quota-regulated emissions and allocation data within the EU's emissions trading system (EU ETS). The company's customers are primarily drilling and oil companies in the oil and gas sector, as well as shipping companies within the maritime industry. In January of the same year, Ecoxy won a framework agreement with Equinor for measuring emissions from offshore installations and onshore facilities.
