Molde

Measurement Engineer – Join us and measure the future's greenhouse gas emissions

We don't need to convince you that the environment and greenhouse gas emissions are important, because you already know that. What we can offer is a job where you actually get to work with it: out in the field, with your hands on advanced measuring equipment, not just in a spreadsheet. Ecoxy measures emissions from engines, turbines, and combustion plants, both at sea, offshore, and on land, in Norway and Europe. We are a small, highly skilled team in growth, and we are looking for a new colleague who wants to learn the trade from the ground up or build on the experience you already have. We are a company that is still young enough to question how things have always been done. With us, you are not asked to just follow a manual; you are asked to contribute to developing the next version.

Why work at Ecoxy?

  • A real professional environment, not just nice words. You work closely with the head of exhaust measurement and our instrument and equipment manager. With us, there is a short distance from question to answer.
  • Real variation. No assignments are the same: different types of plants, different customers, and different technical challenges.
  • You don't need to be fully trained. We welcome you whether you are a recent engineering graduate or an experienced technician. The training is thorough and structured, and you will take on responsibility as you become confident.
  • Visible results. What you measure goes directly into reporting and regulatory compliance for our customers.
  • Office in Molde with a view of the fjord and mountains, and travel days at customer sites as part of the job.

This will be your everyday life

  • As a measurement engineer, you report to the head of exhaust measurement, and you will:
  • Plan, execute, and report accredited emission measurements at customer sites. The assignments take place in the field, offshore, on ships, or at industrial facilities.
  • Ensure that the measurements meet safety, quality, and precision standards in accordance with procedures and HSE requirements.
  • Notify the instrument and equipment manager when you discover errors, deficiencies, or improvement potential in the equipment.
  • Have direct customer contact in connection with measurement assignments.
  • Contribute to the further development of the company's procedures and professional standards.
  • Stay updated in the field and suggest new methods, regulations, and technologies we should keep an eye on.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a technical education: M.Sc. (0–3 years of experience), engineer/B.Sc. (0–5 years of experience), or vocational certificate as a technician (3–9 years of experience).
  • Has completed, or is willing to undergo, thorough training in exhaust measurement and measurement technology.
  • Enjoys fieldwork and travel days. This is not a pure office job.
  • Is systematic and confident in technical documentation.
  • Speaks and writes well in Norwegian and English.
  • Bonus, but not a requirement: familiarity with combustion engines, turbines, or process plants.
  • We offer
  • Competitive salary, bonus scheme for all employees, and flexible working hours.
  • Good pension scheme and insurance: Including treatment insurance, travel insurance for the whole family, and all other statutory insurances.
  • Structured training program with close professional follow-up.
  • Joint lunch at the office, company trips, social events, home office agreement, covered work phone, gym membership, and private internet at home office.
  • A growing company where you help shape how we work, not just perform tasks that have already been decided.
