Ecoxy is an independent accredited third party for the verification of greenhouse gas emissions under the EU Emissions Trading System. We verify approximately 40 facilities per year and have accreditation under NS-EN ISO 14065:2021 and NS-EN ISO/IEC 17029:2019.
Businesses subject to EU ETS are required to have their greenhouse gas emissions verified by an independent accredited third party. Ecoxy has been doing this since 2013 and currently verifies around 40 facilities annually – from land-based industry to offshore installations.
We have dual accreditation: both NS-EN ISO 14065:2021 (climate-specific) and NS-EN ISO/IEC 17029:2019 (general validation and verification). In 2025, Ecoxy became the first Norwegian company with extended 17029 accreditation for EU ETS 2 verification.

Ecoxy reviews the facility's monitoring plan (MMP) and previous reports. We clarify scope, deadlines, and any changes.
We thoroughly review the emissions report against primary data sources, calculation methods, and regulatory requirements.
